Ruddy Shelduck - SNR, 10th;

Greenshank - SNR, 15th;

Whimbrel - over NW Hackney, 12th;

Red Kites - SNR, 4th; NW Hackney, 10th; Abney Park Cemetery, 22nd;

Little Egret - London Fields, 2nd;

Common Buzzards - SNR, 5th; 10th;

Lapwings - three, SNR, 4th:

Hobbys - SNR, 10th; NW Hackney, 11th; Stamford Hill, 20th.

May 2009 was another exeptional month for Hackney birders, with our third star rarity in two months, amongst a healthy array of local scarcities and quality migrants.
