Several unexpected records made a relatively quiet month notable for local observers. Dominated by relentless Atlantic low pressure systems, with many periods of strong winds and storms, November was unseasonably mild throughout as a result, and became the wettest ever on record.
Visible migration watching was the theme of the first week, with observations from dawn from suitable vantage points (in Springfield and Clissold Parks). TBC
